What Jeuveau does, and what it will not do
Jeuveau (prabotulinumtoxinA-xvfs) is a purified botulinum toxin type A made by Evolus and approved by the FDA in 2019. A few small injections quiet the two muscles that pull your brows together. With those muscles relaxed, the vertical lines between your brows stop creasing so deeply, and your face reads as rested.
Evolus makes Jeuveau for aesthetics and nothing else. Botox and Xeomin are also approved for medical uses outside aesthetics, while Jeuveau's only approval is cosmetic. Some patients like that the company behind it does one job.
Janeeh treats Jeuveau the way she treats every neurotoxin: conservative on a first visit, with a follow-up to fine-tune. The aim is a smoother frown and brows that still move.

Treatment
Small amounts go into the target muscles through a very fine needle. No anesthesia is needed, and the injections take a few minutes.
Aftercare
Mild swelling or redness can show for a short while. Skip strenuous exercise for 24 hours, then go about your week.
Results and repeat visits
Lines soften over a few days, with full results by 2 weeks. Most patients rebook every 3 to 4 months.

How long does Jeuveau last?
Jeuveau typically lasts 3 to 4 months. How long your own result holds depends on your metabolism, the strength of the treated muscles and the area treated. Most patients book a repeat Jeuveau treatment every 3 to 4 months, as the muscle gradually starts to move again and lines return.
How soon does Jeuveau work?
