Booking and policies

How far in advance should I book at Benicia Medical Aesthetics?

Book two to three weeks ahead for most treatments at Benicia Medical Aesthetics, and earlier before summer and the holidays, when the calendar fills fastest. Wellness visits such as B12 shots and IV drips sometimes have openings the same week. Call (707) 361-9421 to ask about a sooner slot, or book online.

What is the cancellation policy at Benicia Medical Aesthetics?

Benicia Medical Aesthetics asks for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. A late cancellation or a missed appointment may be charged a fee. If something comes up, call (707) 361-9421 as early as you can, and the front desk will help you find a new time. Book or change a visit.

Do I need a consultation before my first treatment?

Some treatments at Benicia Medical Aesthetics need a consultation before you can book them, so your provider can review your health history, skin type and goals first. If you're not sure what to book, start with a consultation or an Aura skin analysis.

Where is Benicia Medical Aesthetics?

Benicia Medical Aesthetics is at 701 Southampton Rd, Suite 104, Benicia, CA 94510. Benicia sits where I-680 meets I-780, a short drive from Vallejo, Martinez, Concord and Walnut Creek. The studio is open Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 2pm, and closed Sunday.

Pricing and payment

Why aren't treatment prices listed on the website?

Treatment prices aren't listed on the Benicia Medical Aesthetics website because the cost depends on you: the area, the units or syringes, the device and the number of sessions. Your consultation sets the total before treatment starts. Membership prices are published on the memberships page, since those are the same for everyone.

What forms of payment does Benicia Medical Aesthetics accept?

Benicia Medical Aesthetics accepts major credit and debit cards, some mobile payments, and HSA or FSA cards for qualifying treatments. Most cosmetic treatments don't qualify for HSA or FSA spending, so check with your plan first. You can also spread the cost with payment plans or a monthly membership.

Which med spa membership should I choose?

Choose the membership that matches what you already book. VIP at $149 a month suits regular laser, energy and skincare treatments. VIP Elite at $189 adds injectable benefits. Tox and Wellness are $50 each, for neuromodulators or B12 and IV drips. Weight Loss is a supervised $950 program. Compare them on the memberships page.

Treatments and results

How soon will I see results from a med spa treatment?

How soon you see results depends on the treatment. Neuromodulators like Botox and Xeomin typically take 3 to 7 days to show their full effect. Fillers show a change right away and settle over the following days. Laser treatments improve gradually as your skin rebuilds collagen. Each treatment page in the treatment A to Z lists its own timeline.

How much downtime is there after med spa treatments?

Most treatments at Benicia Medical Aesthetics have little downtime, with mild redness, swelling or bruising that passes quickly. Deeper treatments take longer: CO2 laser resurfacing needs about 5 to 7 days of recovery. You get aftercare instructions for your specific treatment. Compare recovery times on the laser treatments page.

Which laser treatment is right for my skin?

The right laser depends on how deep your concern goes and how much recovery you can fit in. LaseMD Ultra treats tone and sun damage with a few days of redness. The mini laser peel and erbium laser go deeper for texture, and CO2 resurfacing goes deepest. An Aura skin analysis helps you choose.

Which dermal filler brands does Benicia Medical Aesthetics use?

Benicia Medical Aesthetics uses Radiesse, a collagen-stimulating filler, and Belotero, a soft hyaluronic acid filler suited to delicate areas like under the eyes and fine lines around the mouth. Janeeh chooses the filler by area and by how much structure or softness your face needs. See dermal fillers.

Providers

Is a doctor involved in my treatment?

Yes. Sundar Natajaran, M.D., an internal medicine physician with more than 20 years in practice, supervises the medical protocols behind every treatment at Benicia Medical Aesthetics. He does not perform treatments. Janeeh Miranda, MSN, FNP-C, a board-certified nurse practitioner, leads every treatment plan. Meet everyone on the team page.

Who performs laser treatments at Benicia Medical Aesthetics?

Laser treatments at Benicia Medical Aesthetics are performed by Janeeh Miranda, MSN, FNP-C, and Daniella Antalek, BSN, RN, a registered nurse who specializes in lasers and has worked in adult oncology, the NICU and the emergency department. Janeeh plans every laser treatment first. See the laser treatments we offer.

Does Benicia Medical Aesthetics treat men?

Yes. Benicia Medical Aesthetics treats men as well as women. Janeeh Miranda, MSN, FNP-C, builds each plan around your face, your skin and how much downtime your schedule allows, whether that means Botox, a laser treatment or skin tightening. If you're not sure where to start, book an Aura skin analysis.
