microneedling with prp

ABOUT

Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure designed to create imperceptible "micro-injuries" on the skin's surface. These micro-injuries stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, effectively minimizing scarring and hyperpigmentation. Additionally, microneedling allows for deeper penetration of skincare products, contributing to an overall healthy glow.

When coupled with Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy, the skin taps into its inherent regenerative capabilities for optimal rejuvenation.

Microneedling: This minimally invasive technique employs a device with fine, sterile needles to generate controlled micro-injuries on the skin's surface. These tiny injuries trigger the body's natural healing response, stimulating collagen and elastin production, crucial for skin firmness and texture. Microneedling is beneficial for improving fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, and uneven skin texture.

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP): PRP, derived from the patient's blood, contains growth factors promoting healing and tissue regeneration. After drawing and processing a small blood sample, the separated platelets are applied to the skin during or after microneedling. This application of PRP into the micro-injuries enhances collagen production and rejuvenation, accelerating healing and fostering a more youthful appearance.

The combination of microneedling and PRP is believed to synergistically enhance overall results. It refines skin texture, diminishes scars, and imparts a youthful radiance. While commonly applied to the face, microneedling with PRP can also be employed on various body areas.

STEP PROCESS

1 Inflammation

Microneedles pierce the skin, triggering your immune system to disinfect the wounds, remove debris, increase blood flow, and begin to create new tissue.

2 Proliferation

The micro-wounds are rebuilt with new granulation cells that include collagen proteins. Additionally, a new network of blood vessels develops.

3 Remodeling

Remodeling the wound is replaced with new dermal tissues and blood vessels which are comprised of rich collagen and elastin proteins. These proteins improve skin youthfulness.
